So everyone has settled back into school, we started the week with Year 5 children going on a visit to Dudley Zoo and Castle. This was re-arranged from when we had all the snow; much nicer weather this week, we even had some sunshine. Mrs Mitchell said, "All the children behaved very well, a wonderful day was had by everyone and the children are now looking forward to their next trip which is a sleep over at the Space Centre".
Our Pre-School children have also been on a trip this morning to Brockswood Animal Sanctuary, unfortunately they have had the rain this morning but they haven't let that dampen their spirits.
The school football team were out representing us on Thursday, unfortunately we lost 7 - 3 to Alder Coppice. Mr Whitehouse said, "We had three brilliant goals from Ellis, Toby and Miles, we were 4 - 3 down at half time but we weren't able to pull it back". We play Maidensbridge Primary School next Friday at home. You are welcome to stay and support the team.
Don't forget next Thursday 3rd May is voting day and the school is closed to pupils.
