Home School Association

Our HSA works incredibly hard on behalf of the school and all parents are welcome to join. The HSA members meet regularly to plan various events and fund raising activities. Each year the HSA treat the children to a number of exciting activities including discos, Scarecrow Festival, Christmas Fair, Easter Egg hunt and many more.

Meet the HSA:

Samantha Lowe (Chair)

Kate Moreton and Laura Masters-Jones (Vice Chairs)

Roger Cliff (Treasurer)

Claire Williams (Secretary)

Plus all the wonderful parents who give up their time to attend meetings, organise events, fundraise and get stuck in.

The HSA is always in need of more volunteers to help with events.  You don’t need to attend committee meetings; even an hour of your time would be gratefully received. Please feel free to contact one of the HSA parents for more information or Mrs Meese in the school office.

Below are some examples of the fabulous work the HSA do.

Our HSA are currently working super hard to raise the much needed funds for our new Forest School.

A huge thank you to everyone for the fantastic support we've received so far! Your amazing contributions have helped us raise a wonderful amount of money towards Forest School. Together, we are creating exciting outdoor adventures for all our children. Let’s keep up the great work!

Disco 2.JPG

On Monday 13th November, our HSA organised two discos, one for Reception and KS1 and one for KS2. Our discos are always very popular, with children enjoying the opportunity to let off steam, spend their pennies on sweet treats and glow sticks and enjoy the music from our resident DJ, Mr Lemm! The discos help the HSA to raise vital funds that can then be put back into the school in the form of future events for the children, as well as token gifts for every child at Easter and Christmas. The money raised can also be used to help improve school equipment and facilities.

On Saturday 14th October 2023, we had our annual Scarecrow Festival. It was a huge success, the sun shone and there were even toffee apples, homemade by Mrs Meese and Mrs Wilkes! Take a look at the scarecrows that all the children made. Can you guess the theme for this year?

Overall, the HSA raised an amazing £1,324 for school - well done and thank you everyone!

We are thrilled to announce that during the 2023 summer holidays, our HSA paid to replace our KS2 play area with the funds they have be raising since October 2021. We're sure you will agree that this is fantastic for our school and the children look forward to many years of fun!
