The children have embarked on an exciting journey to become Subject Ambassadors. They each completed a formal application and attended an interview with the Headteacher and Subject Leader to demonstrate why they should be given the role. They were then awarded their special subject badges in an assembly to celebrate their achievements.
Our Subject Ambassadors meet regularly with their dedicated Subject Leaders to explore and deepen their understanding of various subjects. Each child has taken an active role in this process, designing their own bespoke folder that reflects their individual flair and creativity.
Within these folders, we have provided a specially crafted booklet that offers invaluable guidance on conducting learning walks, engaging in insightful book trawls, and capturing the vital pupil voice. This initiative not only empowers our students to take ownership of their learning but also encourages collaboration and communication between peers and teachers alike.
The involvement of our Subject Ambassadors is set to enrich the day-to-day life at Cotwall End School, fostering a vibrant and inclusive learning environment for everyone. We are all eagerly anticipating the positive changes that will unfold as these young leaders take an active role in supporting their classmates and contributing to our school community.
