All children in Years 3-6 were given opportunity to apply for the role of an Anti-Bullying ambassador. Miss Newey and the class teachers had the difficult job of selecting 2 new anti-bullying ambassadors per year group. All of our anti-bullying ambassadors have been trained and understand their role within the school. You will be able to spot our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors by the special badge they wear!

Anti-Bullying Week 2024

To kick start Anti-Bullying week the whole school participated in Odd Sock Day this day is to celebrate differences and raise awareness of bullying. It symbolizes that everyone is different and should be themselves. It's a day to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality without fear of judgment.

Miss Newey presented our School Assembly to showcase this to all the children across school.

On Thursday 24th October our amazing Year 5 and 6 Anti-Bullying Ambassadors took part in online Anti-Homophobic, Biphobic and Transphobic Training with The Diana Award. They looked at the definitions of key terms and the different types of bullying that individuals can experience.

The training has greatly enhanced our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors’ ability to support their peers and promote a culture of kindness and respect within our school community.

On Tuesday 11th June our Years 3, 4 and 5 Anti-Bullying Ambassadors went to the Priory Primary School to receive Anti-Bullying Ambassador Training from the Diana Award team. Everybody learnt lots and the facilitators gave the ambassadors confidence in how to identify and deal with bullying incidents. They also gave us lots of inspiration on how to develop our anti-bullying work in school further! All of our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors had a fantastic time and now wear their badges with pride!
